ISLAMABAD, Sep 08 (APP): In his special message on National Navy Day, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid glowing tribute to the great sacrifices and unparalleled services of the officers and personnel of the Pakistan Navy.
He added that September 8 is another glorious and memorable day in the defence history of Pakistan.
He said that the valiant personnel of the Pakistan Navy destroyed the enemy’s naval power in the 1965 war.
The Interior Minister said that September 8 has a history of sacrifices, immortal passions, and extraordinary achievements, as on this naval forces of Pakistan also repulsed the enemy like the army and air force.
He stated that the heroes of the Pakistan Navy defeated the enemy and defended the maritime borders, adding that the officers and personnel of the Pakistan Navy, who protect the maritime borders, are our pride.
Mohsin Naqvi highlighted that the indelible role of the Pakistan Navy in the 1965 war will always be remembered in history with golden letters.
He emphasized that the Pakistan Navy is always ready to face all kind of challenges.
He reiterated that “Navy Day” is a day to pay tribute to the valiant soldiers of the Pakistan Navy.
He underscored that the Pakistan Navy is determined to keep the spirit of September 8, 1965, alive.
